Role: Digital Content Coordinator

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Digital Content Coordinator. The objective of this role is to coordinate and manage Finance Shared Services digital content across various platforms, media, and locations.  Develop standards in content management and drive consistency in messaging and digital content across the Finance Shared Service (FSS) organisation.  Source, create, manage and deliver digital content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing, editing and proofreading digital content; work closely with all FSS Functions to ensure accuracy of digital content
  • FSS branding – raising the profile of FSS and promotion of our successes
  • Formulating a cross-platform digital content strategy
  • Provide editorial, presentational, creative, and technical support to FSS team members
  • Manage digital content across all platforms, including email, SharePoint and social media e.g. Yammer (internal to the Wood organisation)
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop new ideas
  • Develop and implement improvements to FSS Communications and Reporting
  • Explore use and adoption of new technology e.g. Microsoft Sway

Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field
  • Secondary Qualification in Finance desirable

Job specific knowledge & experience:

  • Proven track record of creating effective content for specific audiences and meeting deadlines
  • Experience of working with or within a shared service organisation
  • Understanding of the significance of a shared service delivery model within a global business
  • Understanding of Finance Fundamentals e.g. GL Accounting, Billing, AP, Payroll is an advantage
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, MS Forms, Automate, Sway
  • New Media Proficiency and Technical Know-How
  • Demonstrable writing aptitude – ability to write error-free, clearly, succinctly and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
